NUVELCO welcomes Cagayan 1 Electric Cooperative (CAGELCO 1) on February 3, 2023 for a benchmarking activity on the ISO Process and Certification of NUVELCO.

NUVELCO management and Quality Management System Team headed by General Manager Fredel L. Salvador conducted the knowledge sharing on ISO Process and the best practices that the CAGELCO 1 can adapt on their ISO journey.

GM Fredel pointed that it is the clarion call of NEA Administrator Antonio Almeda to capacitate all electric cooperatives and embrace changes. He also conveys his utmost support to CAGELCO 1 in their plans of undergoing the ISO process.

NUVELCO QMR Raymond Navarette then motivated the CAGELCO 1 core committee to continue with the process for the benefit of the member-consumer-owners.

NUVELCO also took the opportunity to share other best practices such as the advanced billing system, advance meter reading system, online collection system, collection monitoring system, and SCADA.
