A total amount of P5,848,717.00 was declared dividend distribution during Nuvelco’s 37th Annual General Membership Meeting on May 12, 2017 at the NUVELCO Main Office, Gabut, Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya.
The dividend distribution for share capital contributions (SCC) for the
1st Semester of CY 2015 started last July 21. Total dividends declared for the semester amount to P 164,193,440.00 for 98,257 members. The Board of Directors approved the following rates: SCC-Common premium rate is at 14% while the regular rate (i.e. for the amount beyond the prescribed SCC-Common of P 5,000.00) is at 8%; and, SCC-Preferred rate is at 5.5%.
Consistent with the mandate of the Election Code of Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco), a district election will be held on February 25 and 26, 2017.
The election is pursuant with Board Resolution No. 50, Series of 2016 adopting the calendar of activities for 2017 district election. The districts subject of election are District IV (Quezon/Kasibu) and District VII (Bagabag/Diadi) on February 25 and 26, respectively.
Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya. A state-of-the-art building will soon rise at the headquarters of the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco) located in Brgy. Gabut, Dupax del Sur, this province.
This move is due to the desire of the officers and management to vacate the old administrative building which was constructed more than thirty (30) years ago. Technical inspection conducted by the building officials of the Dupax del Sur and the DPWH five (5) years ago reveals that the existing old building is already considered as condemned and unsafe as working place.
Gabut, Dupax del Sur. Electricity has come to 56 sitios mostly located in the far-flung area as the year 2015 come to an end. The Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO) thru the National Electrification Administration (NEA) has electrified these far-flung sitios benefitting initial consumers of 1,680.
This project dubbed as Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) is a national government project aimed of electrifying the whole country and to raise the standard of living of these far-flung areas.
Starting this month, electric consumers of the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco) will experience a surge in their electric bill as the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) issued an order directing to collect an additional P0.0120/kwh in its billing cycle.
The implementation of the additional rate is in line with the application of the National Transmission Corporation (Transco) with the Commission for the approval of the feed-in-tariff allowance in ERC Case No. 2015-216RC
The Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco) receives commendation from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) for its preparation and active participation during the conduct of the peace, orderly, and honest May 9, 2016 National and Local Elections.
A certificate of appreciation was given to the cooperative in recognition of its commitment, timeless effort and relentless support in the conduct of the Power Task Force Election 2016 which ensured adequate and reliable power supply during the said elections.
